From 11 am to 3 pm. There will be free food samples from the following local Co-op vendors: Artemis Bakers - Cookies and Muffins Kaneb Orchards - Apple Cider Prosper's Farmstead Creamery - Maple Yogurt St. Lawrence Brewing Company - Craft Beer Mu Mu Muesli - Cereal Kent Family Farms Live Music from local musicians: Animal Crackers - 11:00 am Dan Sullivan-Catlin & Friends - 12:15 pm Crescent Street Jam - 1:45 pm Activities for kids: Face painting Art stations We will also be featuring free food samples from our very own Carriage House Bakery and Deli. Don't forget that a 10% discount will also be offered to all who shop on this day! The Open House will be going on rain or shine, so, please join us for a day of food, music, and fun! This festive event is open to everyone; It is an opportunity for those interested in learning more about the Co-op to see the store and what it has to offer, as well as a time for Co-op members-owners and other shoppers to gather socially.

POTSDAM SANDSTONE FESTIVAL SEPT 18 – 21, 2014 TENTATIVE SCHEDULE Thursday Sept 18th Noon – Tour of St. Mary’s Catholic Church , 17 Lawrence Ave., Potsdam, NY 5:00 PM – Tour of Zion Episcopal Church, 9 Main St. Colton, NY Friday Sept 19th Noon – Tour of First Presbyterian Church and Organ Concert at corner of Elm St and Lawrence Ave. 4 PM – Walking tour of Clarkson University’s First Building - Old Main, 53 Main St., Potsdam 5 – 7 PM - Happy Hour at Maxfield’s, 5 Market St., Potsdam - with a 50/50 Raffle to benefit the festival, Photographic exhibit by Jane Lammers on Potsdam Sandstone architecture. St. Lawrence Arts Council Show and art auction of PleinAir Festival paintings. 5:30 – Walking Tour of Historic Downtown Potsdam – meet at Maxfield’s. 7 PM – Live auction of Plein Air paintings, @ Maxfield's Saturday Sept 20th 10AM – 2 Emily V. Clarkson Moore Memorial Coffee and photo display 10 AM – Walking tour of the Red Sandstone Trail in Hannawa Falls NY with geologist Jeff Chiarenzelli, Geology Professor, St. Lawrence University 11 AM - Tour Trinity Church interior with historian Betsy Travis – explore the Tiffany windows! 1 PM - Stone Mason Roy Perry will give a demonstration on Repairing Historic Masonry, Tent on lawn of Old Snell Hall, Park St. 12 - 4 PM North Country Children's Museum - activities to spark young minds – hands on stuff! Tent on lawn of Old Snell Hall, Park St. 12 – 4 Graymont Stone will have samples of Red Sandstone to be quarried in Parishville 12 - 4 Jane Lammers, local photographer selling sandstone cards and prints. 5 PM – Canoe/Kayak Tour of the old Railroad track across Oak Island on the Raquette River, meet at Ives Park Boat Launch with your boat. Sunday Sept 21st 2 pm – Walking Tour of Bayside Cemetery and Buildings with Susan and John Omohundro, Art Johnson and Village historian Mimi Van Deusen
